John Chisholm – age 24 – Private (2937646) 1st Battalion, Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders.

The 1st Cameron Highlanders had been in India since 1942. In early April 1944 they were sent into the fight to relieve the besieged position at Kohima. John was killed during the capture of Naga Village and was buried there but was re-interred in Kohima in October 1944.
