Robert MacPherson -age 22 – Flying Officer/Air Bomber (154743) 158 Squadron, Bomber Command, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.
Robert was commission from Aircraftman (1682502) in December 1943 and promoted to F/O in June 1944. His Halifax bomber took off from RAF Lissett in Yorkshire for a raid on Bochum near Essen but crashed at Wetten. He was buried there but was re-interred at Reichswald in May 1947.
