Alastair Graham Orr – age 23 – Second Lieutenant (137910) 2nd Battalion, Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders. Alastair was commissioned in July 1940 and joined the 2nd Camerons who had been in Egypt since before the war. They served in the campaigns of North Africa from September 1940. Alastair was buried at Sidi Barrani but was re-interred at Halfaya Sollum in February 1944.

Killed in Action on 10 December 1940.

Commonwealth War Grave – Halfaya Sollum War Cemetery, Egypt.
